MCMS welcomes Dr Debbie Scott

MCMS is delighted to announce that Dr Debbie Scott has joined the practice as a consultant. Bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in dispute resolution, Debbie will be focussing on her role as an adjudicator in construction and engineering disputes. 

Debbie is currently on a number of panels of adjudicators (including the Institution of Civil Engineers Register of Adjudicators, the CIArb Presidential Panel, and the UK Adjudicators Panel), and been appointed to adjudicate on a wide range of complex matters regarding, in particular, NEC3 and NEC4 contracts and payment disputes.

With over 30 years of experience as a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer, Debbie brings an exceptional depth of technical knowledge. She has held senior leadership roles in large international consultancies and specialist geotechnical firms, giving her a unique insight into both the engineering and contractual sides of the industry. Her expertise in the field has also seen her be appointed by the courts to provide expert witness evidence in disputes relating to complex geotechnical matters.

As MCMS continues to strengthen its position as a leading dispute resolution practice, Debbie’s appointment further deepens the expertise within the team, and we look forward to the valuable contribution she will make.
